If towing power is your top priority, the available 5.7L HEMI® V8 engine can tow up to 7,200 pounds.

The 2022 Jeep Grand Cherokee WK is based on the outgoing design generation; one last hurrah for a true legend in the Jeep lineup. The exterior features the iconic Jeep seven-slot grille and easily recognizable body lines from the outgoing generation. The standard Pentastar® V6 engine powering the WK is a carryover from that generation as well.

2022 Jeep Grand Cherokee 4xe
The first electrified Grand Cherokee is arriving in spring 2022 with the plug-in hybrid powertrain in the 2022 Jeep Grand Cherokee 4xe. The 4xe hybrid powertrain is made up of a 2.0L turbo four-cylinder engine and a rugged water-sealed 400-volt battery pack with two electric motors. Three drive modes let you switch the primary power source for the 4xe — go with battery power in Electric Mode, primarily gas with ESave Mode, or a combination with Hybrid Mode.
This powerful combination yields 375 horsepower, 470 pound-feet of torque, and a 6,000-pound maximum towing capacity. Drive a manufacturer’s estimated 25 miles with just electric power, then switch over to normal hybrid operation and keep going for a total driving range of 470 miles. The Grand Cherokee 4xe gets 56 miles per gallon equivalent (MPGe).
The 2022 Jeep Grand Cherokee 4xe is available as a 4xe base model, Trailhawk 4xe, Overland 4xe, Summit 4xe, and Summit Reserve 4xe. All trims are equipped with a proven Quadra-Trac II or Quadra-Drive II 4x4 drivetrain.
